This lovely, Venitian-style art cushion was crafted using a pale cream-coloured velveteen cushion coverslip over which an elaborate appliqué has been hand sewn.
The appliqué was handcrafted from unmounted canvas painted gold, and features as a centrepiece a beautiful antique, slightly faded European tapestry depicting two young people at harvest time. The appliqué has also been framed in gold braid.
This lovely art cushion with its beautiful patina is just waiting to be treasured!
