This lovely, timeworn piece is centred around a small portrait of a Victorian-era young woman captured in sepia tones. The portait has been triply framed in a wood medallion, puffy, pale rose silk, vintage doily and antique frame.
The frame is a wooden one which has been painted pure white to accentuate its distressed appearance. The frame was originally purchased in Eaton's of Montreal in the 1940s. It has two hooks on the back, from which a pure white ribbon has been suspended.
This one-of-a-kind vintage art piece will add a "shabby chic", Old-World elegance to any room!
